GLAND FEST

Conceptual cultural project

GLAND FEST is a conceptual cultural festival project conceived as a transversal celebration of contemporary feminisms. It proposes an inclusive, expanded space where music, arts, thought, gastronomy and social action coexist to connect culture and collective transformation.

The project is driven by the need to rethink language, symbols and visual codes traditionally associated with feminism, moving away from reductionist or tokenistic approaches and towards a bold, diverse and contemporary visual identity.

The name GLAND operates as a semantic and political device: it suggests scale, shared meaning and common ground, while reclaiming a term historically linked to male power structures. Through irony and reappropriation, the project transforms the word into a space of collective agency and visual experimentation. The visual system explores the tension between organic and geometric forms, colour expansion and structure, construction and deconstruction, as a metaphor for a living and evolving movement.

As part of the GLAND FEST universe, the project expands into Gland Colors, a collection of graphic pieces and wearable objects that translate the visual system into everyday formats, extending the conceptual framework beyond the festival context.
